I'm Always Around
03:53
|
|||
I know that you hardly knew me
Cause i'm floating around this life aimlessly
Don't put me in a closet with the rest of your past
We know how life can go so fast
Yet I know, i've got to go
But don't you know that i'm always around
And you know that I can't touch the ground
But then the day will finally come where you can see
You really understood me
I've dreaded this day for so very long
My throat is drier than the paper i'm writing on
As I toss and turn worried what you might see
I realize it's I that has to answer to me
Yet I know, i've got to go
But don't you know that i'm always around
And you know that I can't touch the ground
But then the day will finally come where you can see
You really understood me

Comfort When You're Near
04:12
|
|||
Oh I think of the day
When I wasn't afraid
But I know that you are there for me
And the stories that you told
Don't make me feel so alone
Having you with me is all I need
And I want you to see, what you do to me
Looking through my eyes, see the joy that you bring
And when you're gone, I can't feel the way to be
Like when you're here, there's comfort when you're near
Everyday that you're here
Oh I never feel the fear
Like I do, when you're nowhere to be found
And the stories that you told
Don't make me feel so alone
Having you with me is all I need
And I want you to see, what you do to me
Looking through my eyes, see the joy that you bring
And when you're gone, I can't feel the way to be
Like when you're here, there's comfort when you're near

Heady Convo's with Jimmy
05:27

My life is like a movie with no cast
The extras float around and fade just as fast
As I pick up my pieces from the floor
Won't someone please help me so this won't take so very long
But I, lost another piece
And it's fallen, past my feet
And when it hits the ground, I hope that it don't make a sound
Should I know what to do, to help me get through on my own?
This new place i'm in, comes from deep within my soul
But I think, my soul has to go
I walk around friendly
And people I call friends get up and leave
I wonder what it is I do wrong
Won't someone please tell me so this won't take so very long
But I, lost another piece
And it's fallen, past my feet
And when it hits the ground, I hope that it don't make a sound
Should I know what to do, to help me get through on my own?
This new place i'm in, comes from deep within my soul
But I think, my soul has to go
Let me in on this, dirty secret, whats wrong with me?
Why am I the fool, feeling oh so cruel, pouring my thoughts out for you?

I see the moonlight, hope that I might
One day feel that way
Pretend its happy, always laughing
With little left to say
Do I go through life searching for nothing
Will we ever see, an image of this thing we need to be
Why go on throughout our time only to be told what's right
This comes and goes, when it shows
I wish I had control
I feel the fright, my chest gets tight
Why can't I just enjoy my time
Yet I find a reason to feel nothing
Will we ever see, an image of this thing we need to be
Why go on throughout our time only to be told what's right
I'd like to know, if I could hide I wouldn't show
An ounce of what I think
If we're alive, can't we stop and take the time
And think about what we have yet to say
